Sisterly Feud

Below is a video to complement the text we have read in class on the sibling rivalry between Olivia de Havilland and Joan Fontain. Enjoy.

  1. In my opinion sisterly feud has always existed. It´s usual that sisters fight, but not in such an exagerated way as this two siblings . I think that this rivalry will last until one of them die, seeing that after so many years I do not think they can solve it. It´s not probably that one of them puts his pride on one side and try to reconcile with her sister.
I absolutely agree with the examples given in the video,it explains two options on how the sisters would react and I think they are totally accourated, seeing that as far as I am concerned sisters (and friends) definetely act like that. If I had not talked to my sister for years and she called me being really keen to reconcile with me, saying just good things about me but with the only purpose of me saying the same I would hung her up.
As a conclusion I do not think this sibling rivalry will end since they have been fighting for 90 years and they feel bitter about each other so as I said before this feud will not end until there´s just one of them left.
